Developing Positive Habits

Positive habits Should be part of your New Year’s Resolution.

Having a positive attitude means you don’t let anything get in your way of your goals. Everything you do reflects great accomplishments.

How many times did you find yourself making that new year’s resolution to start living a healthier lifestyle, but after a few days, you lost your motivation?

Why is it so easy to come up with these great ideas but you find that you never follow through, you forget the commitment you made to yourself?

At this moment you tell yourself “I’ll do it tomorrow, or my plate is full and I don’t have the time and then suddenly you realize the day never comes.

During the process of telling yourself that I’ll do it tomorrow such as eating healthier or exercising and not following through, you’re programing yourself to feel bad, and that’s what you remember. In turn, this causes you to remember a negative emotion.

The problem here is you will not remember it the next time because in reality you don’t want this negative emotion. Because you didn’t jump on the opportunity to make a change immediately, you procrastinated, now it’s even harder to follow through.

How many times did you make this resolution: “this year I’m going to eat healthier and start exercising”? You keep telling yourself you want to do this, but it never happens. This is how we are creatures of habit.

Even though you didn’t jump on your desires to better yourself, you still are following a repetitive pattern of not doing anything.

This causes you to feel real bad that your not committed to living a healthier lifestyle.

Now imagine if you actually follow through with what you really want to do, start feeling better about yourself and eat and exercise properly. This is developing a repetitive positive habits.
