Successful Tip to Lose Weight in 2012

Starting a new year brings the opportunity for many to set new goals to lose weight.

Typically, most of us after a few weeks forget about the goals we set in the beginning of the new year to lose weight.  How many times did you want to lose those extra pounds or get to the gym more often, but unforeseeable events came in the way to prevent you from succeeding?

What do you think it would take to convince yourself from not giving up on yourself this year?  How can you make the goals you set bring in the most rewarding year ever?  Well, I’m going to share with you today just one successful eating tip to lose weight in 2011 that will change you life forever.

Tip #1:  Visualize a healthy new you.

How much weight do you want to lose?  Most people come up with great ideas for losing weight but they don’t visually put their mind in the right place to succeed.  In order to visualize or see the new you, you must first have a picture in your mind of what you expect the outcome to be.  For instance, if you plan on losing 15-20 pounds this year,  you must start seeing yourself 15-20 pounds lighter in weight.

When you look at yourself in the mirror each day and see this beautiful woman or good looking man, you must know at this point the healthy foods you’re going to put in your body today.  The thought of bad foods shouldn’t be considered whatsoever!  As soon as you start getting into this routine, day after day, of visualizing your new sexy body, it will be so much easier to give up those bad eating habits.

If you have any doubt in your mind that you will not be able to commit to your weight loss goals, than you already gave up the battle to win.

When you start visualizing the person who you want to become and truly believe you will succeed, there will be no limits to the unfolding success that will surround your life daily.

I truly believe you can do this, but the most important question is…  Do you?

3 Steps to Overcoming Obstacles

“Obstacles are only temporary road blocks in the mind”~Dave Kovach

Think about this… You have this incredible opportunity to take first place in a 5k marathon, but the only obstacle that’s preventing this from happening is the thought of “can I really be in first place”?

As you’re half-way to the finish line, for some unknown reason, you start feeling tired, and begin thinking to yourself, well I guess second or third place will be OK.  But, what you don’t realize, over the bluff of the hill, there’s only 2 other people ahead of you, approximately 15 to 20 yards.

So, what’s the problem?

The only obstacle that’s preventing them from beating you is?

YOU!!!

It’s easy to let obstacles play tricks on your mind, especially during times of doubt.

Remember this… Your mind is very powerful, and if you’re determined to succeed, I don’t care if it’s a 5k marathon, or eating healthier to lose weight.  The fact is, if you want it bad enough and never ever let doubt stop what you really want, you’ll always succeed.

Follow these 3 steps for overcoming any obstacles which are hindering you to succeed.

  1. Be Determined- Truly believe in yourself that you can do it.
  2. Never Underestimate Yourself- But be truthful and not a phony.
  3. Never Ever Quit- You don’t always have to come in first place, but give it your best shot, and keep on plugging away until you reach the place where you want to be.

Here’s some more great advice from Shane Magee on overcoming obstacles.

Healthier People Follow These 7 Steps

Healthier People Accomplish their goals by plugging into these 7 steps below.

Did you ever notice how some people find it very easy to stay on top of their game?  It’s pretty basic, it stems from their “mindset” by staying committed to the goals they set.

If we look at the common traits healthier people exhibit, they tend to follow the same patterns for accomplishing their goals.

Following through with these 7 steps will shorten the time for you to reach your goals, today, as well as tomorrow.

  1. Healthier people are passionate about their well-being.  They are willing to work hard with persistence and commitment.
  2. Healthier people take action. They are not afraid to make decisions, even if they’re wrong or right.  Just simply correct the not so good decisions accordingly.
  3. Healthier people stay focused.  They don’t fall of track, know exactly which direction they are headed.
  4. Healthier people have higher standards. They don’t settle for less, always looking to do better.
  5. Healthier people are optimistic. They believe anything is possible.  Always believing in their dreams and desires.
  6. Healthier people stay far away from negative people. They only surround themselves with positive, healthy, strong people.
  7. Healthier people love their bodies. They know how essential it’s to have a healthy diet.  Putting bad foods in their bodies is a no no.

Positive Affirmations

Your healthy lifestyle is determined by positive affirmations!

Karl Perera of More-Selfesteem.com has some great tips and resources on positive affirmations. Check out his sight, I believe you will be empowered by his writings.

Affirmations are created in your subconscious mind, and when repeated over and over again, they manifest your thoughts and desires outwards.  Simply, it will come to life!

There is both positive affirmations as well as negative ones.  Delete the negative affirmations before they even get a chance to engulf you.

You are the only one who determines how successful you will become in creating a healthier lifestyle by how you value yourself.

  • The more you value yourself, the faster the turn around will be.

Always use affirmations in the present tense.  How you see yourself today, not tomorrow.

  • I will eat healthy today!  This is the present tense.
  • I’ll start my diet tomorrow!  Not present tense.

Start doing activities to boost your confidence.  Make it a point to exercise, go out and buy yourself a new set of clothes, and of course, eating more healthier foods.  These are just some ways of making those positive affirmations come to life.

Creating Positive Motivation When Times Are Tough

Is Your Positive Motivation In Need Of An Adjustment?

Having Positive Motivation Gets You Back On Track To Success

Not Having Positive Motivation Makes You Feel Worthless!

How many times have you been hanging on a thread and you feel you want to give up and let go of the rope ?

When times get tough and outside forces are bombarding you from all directions do you feel overwhelmed?

Well Buddy, you’re not alone.

I have been there many times and it’s not easy to deal with. So many times I felt the walls are collapsing in and suffocating me. But even though I was in this position, I still wondered how can I overcome these obstacles that are holding me back from fulfilling my dreams and goals.

Looking back several years, I still recall having a positive motivation that enabled me to achieve great accomplishments.

This is a form of positive recapping. Bringing up past experiences which deliver a happy, exciting, and encouraging mindset.

Remembering the times that made you smile!

Do you remember such times? Are you able to allow yourself to do this?

Allowing yourself to recall happy moments of the past can bring you a sense of security when you’re feeling down and out.

If you find yourself in a situation where nothing is going your way and everything you’re trying to do is just falling apart, remember back to those times where you accomplished great achievements and how wonderful it felt.

You may not know this, but it’s OK to feel overwhelmed and feel out-of-sorts. At that moment though, take a deep breath and realize you’re in control of the situation and everything is going to be alright.

Always remember when times where tough in the past and you felt like “I can’t do this” but yet, it passes and you did do it!

Positive Motivation is when you keep on telling yourself “you can do this” when you feel you can’t.

Are you going to keep allowing a negative thought from preventing your goals?

The truth of the matter is simply; You can accomplish whatever you want but you must first believe in yourself. Believing in yourself is the first step to true happiness and success.
