Mama always said…”Eat green leafy vegetables if you want to grow up and be strong.”
Well, at least that’s what my Mom always said. What about YOU, how many times a week do you eat your vegetables? Did you know, most people eat veggies only once or twice a week. What’s even more astonishing is the type of vegetables many of us consume. It’s usually corn or string beans from a can.
Why would anyone neglect the opportunity to eat green leafy vegetables daily? Is it because they don’t like leafy greens. Maybe, it’s because they don’t realize the enormous health benefits associated with eating leafy greens such as: Broccoli, kale, mustard greens, romaine lettuce, spinach, collard greens, bok choy, turnip greens, and watercress. Perhaps they feel it’s not a necessary part of their diet.
With all of that said, I would like to see what the overall opinion is on this. So, below post your opinion to see why most people don’t add green leafy vegetables in their diet more often.
